Introduction
Jenny Rogers – Virtual Assistant/PA (‘my’ or ‘I’ or ‘myself’ or ‘me’) gathers and processes your personal information in accordance with this privacy notice and in compliance with the relevant data protection regulation and laws. This notice provides you with the necessary information regarding your rights and my obligations, and explains how, why and when I process your personal data.
My registered office is 29 Ridgewood Avenue, Saltdean, Brighton BN2 8HH and I am registered on the Information Commissioner’s Office Register; registration number ZA770974 and act as the Data Controller when processing your data.

I would use the personal data to deliver my services to you. I take your privacy very seriously and will never disclose, share or sell your data without your consent; unless required to do so by law. I only retain your data for as long as is necessary and for the purpose(s) specified in this notice.

To carry out my obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you, your employer and myself.
To provide information to you about a particular service provided by me.
To seek your views or comments on the services I provide.
To notify you of changes to my services.

Such information will be non-intrusive and is processed on the grounds of consent i.e. you, the individual, have provided your personal information or have given clear consent for me to process your personal data for a specific purpose. I use the ‘consent’ legal basis for processing all data related to the delivery of client contracts of service and have identified that I am unable to deliver client contracts of service without processing your information.
If there was a need to share your details with a third party, I would only ever do so when you have given your explicit consent by email. Where I do share your data with a third party, they become a processor of your personal data and as such you should also refer to their privacy statements.
Where you have consented to me providing you with information, promotional offers and marketing, you are free to withdraw this consent at any time.

Where applicable, you have the right to data portability of your information and the right to be informed about any automated decision making I may use.
If I receive a request from you to exercise any of the above rights, I may ask you to verify your identity before acting on the request; this is to ensure that your data is protected and kept secure.
Sharing and Disclosing Your Personal Information
I do not share or disclose any of your personal information without your consent, other than for the purposes specified in this notice or where there is a legal requirement.
Safeguarding Measures
I take your privacy seriously and take every reasonable measure and precaution to protect and secure your personal data. I work hard to protect you and your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction and have several layers of security measures in place, including encryptions, restricted access, anti-virus/malware.
Transfers Outside the EU
Personal data in the European Union is protected by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) but some other countries may not necessarily have the same high standard of protection for your personal data. I do not transfer or store any personal data outside the EU.
Consequences of Not Providing Your Data
You are not obligated to provide your personal information to me, however, as this information is required to deliver my services to you, I will not be able to offer some/all of our services without it.
How Long We Keep Your Data
I only ever retain personal information for as long as is necessary and I have strict review and retention policies in place to meet these obligations.
Where you have consented to me using your details for the delivery of an assignment or for marketing purposes, I will keep such data for up to five years or until you notify me otherwise and/or withdraw your consent.
Marketing
I will occasionally send you information about my services and promotions that have been identified as being beneficial to my clients and in my interest by email. Such information will be relevant to you as a client and is non-intrusive and you will always have the option to opt-out/unsubscribe at any time. If you would prefer not to receive above-mentioned marketing and offers, please email jenny@jennyrogersva.com with the subject line “I wish to opt-out of marketing”
Lodging A Complaint
I only process your personal information in compliance with this privacy notice and in accordance with the relevant data protection laws. If, however you wish to raise a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data or are unsatisfied with how I have handled your information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
